Actress Cynthia Nixon visits Obama office in St. Pete

Nixon, who is best known for her role as Miranda Hobbes on the HBO television series Sex and the City, spoke to a crowd of Obama supporters and campaign workers.
Nixon talked about her own battle with breast cancer and the importance of health care coverage. She supports the health care law. She also mentioned her support of same-sex marriage and said Republican candidate Mitt Romney would be the wrong choice for America when it came to various social issues. Nixon made several stops at Obama campaign headquarters in Florida on Thursday.
