AIF Poll: Crist by 14%

Associated Industries of Florida Service Corp. paid Public Opinion Strategies of Alexandria, Va., to conduct a phone survey of 750 likely voters in Florida on Oct. 18, 19 and 22. Margin of error is 3.58%.

The findings according to AIFSC press release: Crist leads Davis 46 to 32 percent with 15 percent undecided; Independent John Wayne Smith polls at 2 percent; Reform Party candidate Max Linn, and two other independent candidates Richard Paul Dembinksy and Karh Behm poll at under 1 percent.

When committed voters are polled (release didn't say how committed was defined), Crist leads 34 to 24.

Release also said Davis' image is 35 percent favorable, 27 percent unfavorable; Crist's is 54 percent favorable, 25 percent unfavorable.
