AIF poll puts McCollum ahead
An Associated Industries of Florida poll released Thursday puts Republican Attorney General candidate Bill McCollum ahead of Democratic state Sen. Skip Campbell 43%-36%. Pollster, McLaughlin and Associates, who also is McCollum's pollster, says McCollum is now the "clear frontrunner." Yesterday a Florida Chamber poll had Campbell ahead 40-37.
McCollum “is winning among white and Hispanic voters and is getting 31% of the African-American vote, which is impressive for a Republican candidate," the AIF report said.
