Alex Sink and Adam Goodman join forces on campaign

No, it's not a political campaign bringing together the former Democratic gubernatorial nominee and the Republican media consultant, but rather WEDU, West Central Florida's premier PBS station. Sink and Goodman on Wednesday will  co-host "The One Night...That We're All Together," fundraising event for WEDU's local public affairs programming.

It also kicks off the 20th anniversary of "Florida This Week," one of WEDU's top public affairs shows that airs Fridays at 8:30 p.m. The evening will include two special tapings of Florida This Week with a live audience. The first will highlight post‐election insights and wrap‐up. The second episode will look forward and discuss what to expect from our newly elected officials. Both episodes taped during the event will air on WEDU Friday, November 16th.

“The One Night…That We Are All Together” will be held at the WEDU Berkman Family Broadcast Center at 1300 N. Boulevard, Tampa on Wednesday, November 14th beginning at 5:30pm. A limited number of tickets are still available for this exclusive event. More information can be found online at or by phone at 813-254-9338 ext. 2241.

The guest list includes a Who's who of Democrats, Republicans and journalists who have appeared on WEDU's public affairs programs over the past 20 years, including Will Weatherford, Bill McBride, Patrick Manteiga, Adam C. Smith, Rick Kriseman, Darryl Rouson, Jeff Brandes, Rick Baker, Sink, Goodman, and many more.
