Alex Sink faces challenge for Democratic nomination

It's easy to forget that Alex Sink is not the only Democrat running for governor, as even Buzz readers have probably never heard of her primary rivals: Joe Allen (who seems to hang out with a lot of Republicans, Michael E. Arth, Phillip Kennedy or Farid Khavari.

Still some of these fellows are pretty interesting. Khavari, who created the video above, has a bold plan to create a Bank of Florida. And check out Arth's interesting background. He has filed a grievance against the state Democratic party, accusig leaders of ignoring him so they can promote Alex Sink.

"We’re sure Mr. Arth is a good, committed Democrat. Nonetheless, in the governor’s race, the Democratic Party’s elected leaders, grassroots activists and committed supporters across Florida are excited about Alex Sink's campaign because of Sink's exemplary performance as CFO, her proven record as a business leader, and the fact that she is our strongest candidate," party spokesman Eric Jotkoff said.
