Alex Sink staying put
Times metro columnist Ernest Hooper ran into Alex Sink at a high school football game in Tampa.
Sink, who narrowly lost the race to governor to Rick Scott, told Hooper that in the wake of her gubernatorial bid, she has gone around the state thanking supporters and found a lot of people interested in state issues, so she's considering starting a policy foundation.
Of course, when I asked for something to write about, I thought she might confirm a rumor that she was going to move from Thonotosassa to Tampa and run for mayor. Sink smiled and said she didn't think that was in the cards, even though others had inquired.
