Allen West's advice for presidential candidates
This may be surprising from a guy who called Debbie Wasserman Schultz the "most vile, unprofessional, and despicable member of the US House of Representatives," but Rep. Allen West has some advice for the Republican presidential candidates:
Watch your words.
"In South Florida when you say 'Ponzi scheme', the first thing we think about is Madoff and Rothstein," he told the Buzz. "You have to be careful of the words you say. Just the same as Michele Bachmann coming down and saying drilling in the Everglades." West said that's not a good idea.
West has not decided on a candidate. But he's worried in general about the less hawkish tone coming from the debate stage. "Just standing up and saying 'I want all our troops out of Afghanistan, then what?"
