Democrats are busily circulating a radio interview in which Rep. Allen West says he was "the only black member of a white supremacist motorcycle gang."

Considering the context, however, it seems West is being sarcastic. (His spokesman tells the Buzz that was his intent.) West was commenting on the Herman Cain controversy and what he sees as liberal bias towards black conservatives. His comments came prior to yesterday's development, which put a face to new allegations of sexual harassment. West took heat in the 2010 election for his affiliation with a motorcycle group and articles he wrote for a biker magazine. Background here.
