Missed amid the daunting $40-million GOP fundraising result since the primary: More money being pumped into both sides of the Amendment 3 campaign.

Friday's campaign results show Charlie Hilton's connections with the Club For Growth netted $250,000 for the anti-Amendment 3 cause, Trust the Voters. And, Americans for Limited Government, a pro-citizen initiative group led by Howard Rich,  pumped in another $325,000 bringing its total investment to $1.1-million of the total $2.3-million raised in the anti-campaign.

Meanwhile, the advocates for Amendment 3, Protect Our Constitution, are still winning the total money race at $3.2 million. Big donors in the latest financial disclosure with $891,000 raised, were two Florida-based businesses: CSX and Chicos, which each gave $100,000.
