Republican gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist reports raising another $1.79-million over the last three months. That brings his total raised to date to a whopping $11.7-million and leaves us at Buzz once again stunned by how much political money there is in this state.

From the campaign: “Floridians across the state have shown their strong support for my campaign and I vow to continue demonstrating leadership on the issues that make a difference,” said Crist. “I take their support seriously and I will work everyday to honor the trust and confidence they have placed in me.”

According to preliminary figures, the Charlie Crist for Governor Campaign received total contributions of approximately $2.12 million, of which $1.79 million were in the form of hard dollar contributions, during the most recent quarter of fundraising. That brings the total estimated campaign contributions to $11.7 million, with nearly $10.6 million in hard dollar contributions. At the end of this quarter, more than 27,000 contributions have been made to the Charlie Crist for Governor campaign.
