Another Young aide departs
David Jolly, who ran Rep. C.W. Bill Young’s Pinellas County operation for the last year, is leaving the congressman’s staff to become a lobbyist.
Jolly, 34, is the second staffer to leave Young’s office for the greener pastures of lobbying in the past few weeks. Doug Gregory, a top Young aide for 39 years, also departed.
Both are working for the Washington firm Van Scoyoc Associates.
Jolly, who worked for Young for about 12 years (with some time off to work for a law firm), said he was interested in more predictable hours.
He will split his time between Washington and his home in Indian Shores.
