Sen. Nancy Argenziano fired back a second time against her Republican Party tormentors, Gov. Jeb Bush and party chairwoman Carole Jean Jordan.
"Ah, where is Tom Slade when you need him?" she mused in a Monday night e-mail, tweaking Jordan by suggesting she's a weak imitation of one of her predecessors. As for Jordan's criticism of Argenziano for making "personal attacks" on Bush, the senator asked: "Since when did the Republican platform disallow criticism of politicians?"
"I will not reconsider my comments," Argenziano wrote. "They were accurate observations."
Bush said he was disappointed in Argenziano's remarks, but otherwise declined comment.
