Atwater pulls in $245k in second quarter
Jeff Atwater, the Republican candidate for chief financial officer, just announced that he collected $245,000 in campaign contributions over the past three months. It's roughly half of what he collected in each of the past four quarters. But the total still leaves Atwater with a huge money lead in the race. He's got $2.1 million cash on hand, his campaign says.
