Bob Graham - friend of politicians big and small

21

July

Bob Graham made a surprise visit Friday to the press center in Tallahassee. At a sparsely attended (putting it politely) news conference, the former governor and senator endorsed Iris Wilson, a candidate for Leon County school superintendent, posed for pictures and cut a TV spot. "They had me do it 17 times," he joked. Three of Graham's grandchildren attended Kate Sullivan Elementary School, where Wilson was principal.

Graham recently returned to Florida from Boston, where he was at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. He plans to hit the road soon with Democratic candidate for governor Jim Davis.
