Back when Keith Fitzgerald was a newly elected Democratic Florida House member, former U.S. Sen. Bob Graham described him as one of the brightest lights on the Democratic bench for future statewide campaigns. The 2010 GOP wave swept Fitzgerald from his swing district, but now he's back running against U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan, R-Sarasota, and Graham is stepping up to help raise money.

Graham is headlining a $250 per-person fundraiser for Fitzgerald in Tampa Wednesday at the law offices of  Swope, Rodante P.A. The invite is attached.
