Bondi files amended financial disclosure
After news reports on Thursday that she had failed to include bank accounts on her 2009 and 2010 financial disclosure forms, Attorney General Pam Bondi on Friday filed her first amended form. It shows she had accounts with a value of $6,243 at the end of 2010 and a net worth of $472,260. The previous form lised her net worth as $472,696. A spokeswoman for Bondi said the revised net worth accounts for credit card debt of $436. State law requires disclosing any asset or liability valued at more than $1,000 as of Dec. 31 of the reporting year.
In a letter to the Commisison on Ethics, accountant Robert Watkins said Bondi will file an amended 2009 disclosure after receiving documentation from her banks. Watkins said the information was inadvertently omitted from the original forms.
