Boot-camp case coroner loses his job
Dr. Charles Siebert, the medical examiner who oversaw the Martin Lee Anderson boot-camp death, lost his job Saturday. Siebert had his critics, including the Rev. Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Push Coalition, which criticized Siebert's conclusions in the Anderson case. But Panama City-area State Attorney Steve Meadows, one of the doc's strongest supporters, said an "agenda-driven investigation" was aimed at ousting Siebert. His firing did not directly relate to the Anderson case. More from AP here.
