Budget vetoes coming
Gov. Charlie Crist indicated that he's leaning toward "definite" decisions on vetoing some education and public safety cuts, although he said he'd wait until next week to reveal them.
Crist talked about restoring funding for teacher bonuses and to probation officers, both of which were cut.
"Making sure we have the best education we have for our children and communities that are safe for all of our people are two of the most important things we do in government to protect people and give them a brighter future."
By contrast, he hasn't reached a decision of what to do about the plan to stall Florida Forever, the state's land-buying program.
