FDP's Karen Thurman kept it neutral. "Floridians need a decisive governor - one who has both the vision and determination to make real change. Both Jim Davis and Rod Smith demonstrated admirably tonight that they truly have what it takes to move this state forward. They are exactly the type of leaders Florida needs right now to bring us in the right direction. I commend their performances tonight and their continued leadership for our state. Either would make Florida proud as governor.”
