Charlie Crist is trading his downtown bachelor pad for a family pad, where he and his wife, Carole, will live full time.

The ex-governor, adjusting to life in the private sector, is preparing to move from his 21st-floor, one-bedroom condo at Bayfront Tower in St. Petersburg to a rented two-bedroom condo on the 19th floor. "I've been at Bayfront for a long time, and we're glad to get a little more space,'' said Crist, who in 2008 proposed to Carole inside his rental in the building with sweeping views of Tampa Bay.

After leaving office, the Crists expected to travel between St. Petersburg and Fisher Island near Miami Beach, where she has a nearly 3,700-square-foot, four-bedroom condo. But she is selling that condo, asking $3.7 million. And this is Crist's new business card for his job at Morgan & Morgan, "For the people." Read more here.
