Charlie Crist slams Dems, Kendrick Meek

The Charlie Crist campaign today did it's best to focus on Democrats, and not Marco Rubio.

This statement came out on Kendrick Meek: “As Congressional Democrats continue to meet with President Obama in closed door meetings to discuss their government run health care plan, it is important for Florida voters to know exactly where Rep. Kendrick Meek stands on the issue of transparency in government. Does he support his party and the Obama Administration as they break their promises to the American people by using backroom negotiations to try to get their legislation passed? Will he vote for this health care bill that was crafted in secret with no input from the American people?"

And this on the Massachussetts Senate race: “It is increasingly evident that Democrat leaders will stop at nothing to obstruct the will of the American people in this healthcare debate,” said Crist. “When voices of concern were raised about the health bill, President Obama broke his promise of transparency in the debate and negotiations while Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi passed out sweetheart deals and scheduled dead of the night votes.

“Recently, I have been hearing reports that their latest effort to jam this bill through Congress is to stall the Massachusetts special Senate election certification of Scott Brown, upon his election. I hope Scott Brown can seize his momentum to ensure he is the next U.S. senator from Massachusetts. Once determined, it is imperative that Harry Reid and Massachusetts Democrats adhere to the will of the people and certify this election, so he can take his seat as soon as possible.”
