For all those Floridians' reeling from high insurance rates, consider this: Your governor is paying them too.

Gov. Jeb Bush, who said again Wednesday he still hoped to call a special session on insurance issues after the November election, confirmed that he is a Citizens Property Insurance Corp. customer for a condominium he owns in Coral Gables.

The governor defined to say exactly how much he's seen his wind-only policy increase in cost, "A lot. Like everybody elses. No less, no more."

Then he added: "I hope I’m not getting special treatment by getting more (premium costs) and I know I’m not getting special treatment by getting less."
