Buzz suspects this could help Tom Gallagher with Florida's dog lovers. Senate President Pro Tempore Charlie Clary, R-Destin, author of the state's new doggie dining law, is backing Chief Financial Officer Gallagher's gubernatorial bid, the campaign announced Monday.

"Tom has a clear, positive vision for the future and he stands ready to make the tough decisions we need to help meet the promise of Florida," Clary said. Buzz wonders if Clary's Yorkshire terrier "Dixie Cup" has ever met Gallagher's Bichon Frise "Fluffy."
