Is Connie Mack rethinking U.S. Senate?

UPDATE Wednesday: Mack told the Buzz he was focused on his current job. "So you're ruling it out?" His reply: "Yeah."

U.S. Rep. Connie Mack was seen today in Washington meeting with political strategist Arthur Finkelstein, raising the possibility he could be rethinking his decision not to run for U.S. Senate one day after Mike Haridopolos quit the race.

Or it could be nothing.

Mack's office would not comment on the meeting. Finkelstein has long advised the Mack family.
