U.S. Rep Connie Mack tomorrow morning in Fort Myers will make "a major announcement regarding the 2012 race for the United States Senate in Florida against liberal incumbent Senator Bill Nelson."

Predictions? Does he give up a safe congressional seat to jump into a bruising and unpredictable GOP primary, followed by a tough general election campaign?
