Could Dems be hurting their own cause on teacher tenure?
We've gotten a parade of press releases from Democrats today urging Gov. Charlie Crist to veto SB 6, the teacher tenure bill, after its expected passage tonight in the House.
Just a thought, but the voluminous calls from Democrats to veto the bill might ironically make it politically harder for him to do so. Consider the statement from Senate President-designate Mike Haridopolos after Crist vetoed the leadership funds bill, another top GOP priority: Crist "parroted the talking points of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink."
If Crist does decide to veto the tenure bill, reaction from Repubs is likely to be same song, different verse.
