Crist at 75 percent (Chamber poll)
The Florida Chamber of Commerce is out with a statewide poll that shows Gov. Charlie Crist's favorability/unfavorability at 75-6, significantly higher than the 62 percent in last week's St. Petersburg Times-Bay News 9 survey.
The Chamber survey by McLaughlin & Associates was conducted April 29-30 (1,000 likely general election voters, MOE +/-3.1 percent).
On the right track/wrong track in Florida question, it's a statistical dead heat. Voters chose right track by 43 percent to 41 percent. Asked to identify the "most important problem in Florida," 14 percent said property taxes, 10 percent said development, 9 percent said education, 8 percent said environment and 7 percent said economy -- figures that don't quite reflect the "property tax crisis" politicians are talking about.
