Crist, Mourning team up for kidney help

Former Miami Heat star Alonzo Mourning was in Tallahassee today to support legislation that would increase medical coverage for people who suffer from kidney disease. The recently retired NBA veteran underwent a kidney transplant in 2000. Mourning is lobbying for bills that would provide "Medigap" coverage to about 500 Floridians under age 65 who suffer from kidney disease. "I feel like I've been able to touch more lives off the court than I have on the court," Mourning said. (Video by Alex Leary.)
