President Obama is speaking right now in Grand Isle, Louisiana. With him is Gov. Charlie Crist. Obama mentioned Crist and Bobby Jindal and said one way people can help is to visit Gulf beaches.
At the end, Crist and Obama shook hands.
"It's an assault on our shores, on our people ..." Obama said of the oil disaster, stressing that BP will be held accountable but said "the buck stops with me."
"This is a man-made catastrophe that is still evolving," Obama said. There will be a lot of judgment calls as the oil is dealt with, he added, and there are no "silver bullets." (AP photo)
