Crist's fastball shows up Perdue

As relayed to the Buzz, the scene tonight at Turner Field in Atlanta:

Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue walks off the pitcher's mound and closer to the plate in order to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Braves-Marlins game. Even with the head start, though, the ball falls into the dirt.

Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, playing to the crowd, takes his ball, walks to the mound and winds up. The pitch ... a solid strike.

But the Braves settled the score, winning 5-4.
