Davis closing in Tampa Bay
A new poll for Bay News 9, shows Jim Davis narrowing Charlie Crist's lead in the seven-county Tampa Bay area. In September, Crist led Davis 53 percent to 38 percent. Now, Crist leads 49 percent to 43 percent with 8 percent undecided.
400 Tampa Bay voters interviewed were by telephone October 26-28, 2006 by Political/Media Research, Inc. of Washington, D.C. All indicated that they would vote in the November 2006 general election. Margin for error is plus or minus 5%.
