Davis' voting record long gone

The precinct voting logs that would have shown whether Jim Davis voted or not in the November 2000 election have been destroyed. The Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections office said Thursday morning that the records were destroyed after 22 months, as per law.

Davis insisted last night that he voted at his Davis Islands (no relation) precint in Tampa, contrary to what a voting history showed.
