WPTV in West Palm Beach confirmed just before 2 p.m. that its debates between the gubernatorial candidates will go on, despite Tropical Storm Ernesto's approach.

First up Monday at 8 p.m., and broadchast on NBC affiliates statewide, is the GOP debate with Charlie Crist and Tom Gallagher. Democrats follow Tuesday.
