Does Crist need an atlas?

First Charlie Crist backed out of appearing in public with President Bush in Pensacola. But twice on Monday he sounded like Pensacola wasn't part of the state.

Asked why he snubbed the president, Crist told reporters in St. Petersburg: "I need to be in Florida ... We've worked the Panhandle very hard."

Then he did it again in Orlando. A TV reporter asked if Crist was concerned not being out there with the president. "All I care about is Florida. That's all I care about," Crist said.
