Does Pasco hold a clue for Obama?
The unofficial vote is quickly coming into view in Pasco and while Barack Obama is down, he may find some encouragement in this bellwether county.
With 96 percent of the precincts reporting, John McCain leads 50 percent to 48 percent, or roughly 5,700 votes. But consider that four years ago, George Bush won by 20,000 votes, a victory that drew national attention.
An unofficial analysis of early voting returns showed Obama picked up more of the independent vote in Pasco.
