Electra Bustle's classy goodbye
At Tuesday's Cabinet meeting, there was the usual array of resolutions honoring various motherhood and apple pie causes. But the agenda came to a halt to recognize the recent resignation of Electra Bustle as executive director of the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
Gov. Charlie Crist and the Cabinet members presented Bustle with a large framed painting of the historic Old Capitol, signed by all four statewide elected officials. "I really just want to say thank you," Bustle said. "I was just proud to be a part of that team. It's been great."
Bustle recently announced her resignation to take a job as a lobbyist with Southern Strategy Group.
