Filling an ethics post

Gov. Charlie Crist has filled one of three vacancies on the Commission on Ethics with a business leader and political activist from Broward County. He's Roy Rogers, 71, of Lighthouse Point, who owns a real estate consulting firm and is also a special consultant to the IBI Group, an architectural and engineering firm. He is a registered independent. Records show he has made about a dozen small campaign contributions over the years to Democrats such as Buddy MacKay, Skip Campbell and Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and to Republicans Frank Brogan and Ellyn Bogdanoff (Rogers is a constituent of Bogdanoff's in House District 91).
