First day convention line-up announced
The Republican National Committee released the schedule for Monday's first day of the Republican National Convention, highlighted by primetime remarks from Ann Romney. The first day will include a double session, one starting at 2 p.m. and the evening session starting at 7:45 p.m.
Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn will help welcome conventioneers in the afternoon, along with host committee chairman Al Austin.
Gov. Rick Scott appears scheduled to speak second once the evening session kicks off.
Based on the looks of things, Scott will probably have about five minutes in the spotlight, shortly before 8 p.m. Schedule below:
