Is Fla GOP chairman calling Mitt Romney an "opponent"?

Here's the letter state Republican Chairman Lenny Curry sent out touting Gov. Rick Scott's accomplishments. The italics are from us.

 Dear Adam,
The Governor is not the type to brag or toot his own horn, but sometimes you just have to share the good things that are going on and spread the word.
Our opponents would have you believe that Florida is heading backwards. Nothing could be further from the truth, and the facts tell a much different story — Florida is moving in the right direction. After 4 years of skyrocketing unemployment, falling home values and a stumbling economy, we are turning the corner. Thanks to the Governor's leadership, Florida is becoming the greatest place in the nation to live, work and play.

Allow me to brag about the Governor and just a few of his accomplishments so far:

Unemployment down by 2.5% in first 18 months – 11.1% down to 8.6% with 127,200 private sector jobs created so far.
Balanced two state budgets without raising taxes.
Provided an additional $1 billion in funding for education.
Raised education standards while committing to finding new testing solutions.
Made Florida more affordable by reducing property taxes by over $200 million and putting the brakes on auto insurance rates.
Led and won the fight to ensure that non-citizens do not vote illegally in our elections.
Committed to opting Florida out of non-mandatory parts of ObamaCare to protect taxpayers.

Florida's turnaround is creating more jobs, helping home values rebound and making the Sunshine State a more affordable place to live.
Will you help me spread the word about our state's outstanding economic comeback? Here are three ways you can help these facts reach more Floridians:

SHARE it with your friends on Facebook.
Tweet it to your followers on Twitter.
Forward this email to your friends and family.

Lenny Curry
Chairman, Republican Party of Florida

P.S. - Please don't forget to SHARE the Governor's accomplishments with your friends.
