Fla Poll: Mitt Romney 50%, Barack Obama 47%
The Associated Industries of Florida today released part of a Sept 9 and 10 poll by the Republican firm McLaughlin & Associates (MoE =/- 4 percent) showing Mitt Romney leading Barack Obama in Florida 47.2 percent to 49.5 percent. The poll found independents splitting evenly between Romney and Obama, but Obama winning just 83 percent of Democrats compared to Romney winning 90 percent of Republicans.
Asked, if they and their families were better off today than they were four years ago. More than half – 54.7 percent – felt they were not, while 40 percent felt they were better off today.
