Florida donors help feed super PACs
Two-thirds of the $92 million that has gone to super PACs comes from only four states (TX, MA, CA, NY) and the District of Columbia. Down the list is Florida, where residents have given $4 million, according to data compiled by MapLight.
Of that, $3.9 million went to super pacs supporting Mitt Romney; $50,000 to Newt Gingrich; $36,850 to Barack Obama; and $25,000 to Rick Santorum.
