Floridians pushing Trump to run in 2012
William J. Diamond, who served in the administrations of Ronald Reagan and Rudy Giuliani, and currently serves as a City of Palm Beach Council Member, is the new co-chair of the Draft Trump 2012 initiative in Florida. Miami-based consultant Roger Stone has been working on the effort too.
"I am excited to join the premier movement encouraging Donald Trump to run for President. We need a strong leader with the experience and determination to lower the price of gas, boost our economy and create jobs. Our nation needs Donald Trump!" Diamond said in a statement.
Diamond has been a Palm Beach council member since 2009. Diamond was appointed by Mayor Rudy Giuliani to the post of Commissioner for the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services in 1994 and served until 2001 at the con. Prior to working for Giuliani, Diamond was appointed by President Ronald Reagan to be the Regional Administrator for the United States General Services Administration from 1982-1993.
