Fox Fla poll: Obama 45, Romney 43; Rubio little help
An April 15-17 Fox News poll of registered Florida voters (MoE +/- 4%), shows Obama and Romney within the margin of error in Florida. The poll shows Romney leading among independents by a whopping 17 points (Can someone lead w independents by that much and still trail? Doubt it), among men by 3 points, and seniors over 65 by 8 points. Obama leads among women by six points and Hispanics by 17 percentage points.
A strong majority of Democrats say they are voting for Obama, rather than against Romney, while a stong majority of Republicans say they are voting against Obama.
Forty eight percent of voters disapprove of Obama's performance and 43 percent approve. Forty seven percent disapprove of Gov. Rick Scott's performance and 34 percent approve.
With Marco Rubio as Romney's running mate, the race is Obama 45 percent, Romney 44.
