Frank Farkas, Consumer Crusader
Republican state Senate District 16 candidate Frank Farkas has made a career brushing off critics bashing him as anti-consumer. His new campaign mailer in fact notes his pro-consumer advocacy in the last legislative session: boosting education funding, opposing auto title loans and partly repealing the phone bill he helped pass that raised local rates.
It says of Frankly Farkas: "Those who know Frank know that he is not afraid to tackle tough issues. He doesn't compromise his principles, is willing to work across party lines as a consensus builder and has worked hard on every issue, trying to build an economically stronger, safer Florida."
