FSU president list grows to 25
The list of candidates for FSU's presidential search is now at 25 and includes applicants from Kent State and the University of North Carolina. The search technically remains open until the trustees pick a new president, but the search committee will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. tomorrow at the Alumni Center Ballroom to review all submitted applications and identify and decide which candidates merit on-campus interviews. The goal is to send recommended finalists to the trustees by the end of the day Friday
Here are the newest six candidates:
Eric Barron, Director, National Center for Atmospheric Research
David Persky, assistant to the President, St. Leo University
James Elsner, professor, Department of Geography, Florida State University
Uday Sukhatme, executive Vice Chancellor and dean of the Faculties, Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis
Robert Frank, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, Kent State University
Steven Leath, Vice President for Research, University of North Carolina
John Petersen, Executive Director, RTP Solar Fuels Project and former President, Research Triangle Energy Consortium for The University of Tennessee System
