Despite Friday's bad news on fundraising, the Tom Gallagher campaign was still pushing its strategy of reaching dependable voters over the weekend via email with a message we're surprised hasn't been pushed harder: Gallagher is the only veteran in the race.

"His service to his country, principled record of leadership, and clear vision for our future makes Tom Gallagher the best candidate to work on behalf of veterans.
