Gay Bashers Need Not Apply?

A right-wing nonprofit called Florida Family Association is urging its members to complain to incoming Senate President Ken Pruitt about changes proposed in a questionnaire to weed out bad apples from Gov. Charlie Crist's administration.

The offending line asks applicants if they've ever been complained about or investigated for discrimination or sexual harassment based on "sexual orientation," as well as color, race, national origin, gender, age, religion, etc. Read the new questionnaire here. (Proposed changes also ask applicants to report DUI charges.)

"If you are a devout Christian who has ever opposed the radical homosexual agenda, you need not apply for a job with the administration of the new Florida Governor," Florida Family has told its supporters.

They point out that the new questionnaire might prevent incoming Florida Sen. Ronda Storms from being considered in the new administration, since she was sued for her part in banning gay pride displays in public libraries in Hillsborough County.
