Geller: You don't bring me flowers anymore
Democratic State Sen. Steve Geller left an "angry" message with Gov. Charlie Crist Tuesday evening, complaining that he's no longer among the governor's favorites. He was joking, of course, but Geller had noticed that he doesn't chat with Gov. Crist as much as he did when property taxes was the big issue of the day.
"You've got new friends, you're hanging around John McCain. You never call, you never write you never visit anymore," Geller said.
Geller's predictions on Crist as VP? Crist may consider such a role, but Geller thinks McCain won't offer it, because the two are too politically similar.
"McCain is going to have to shore up his right wing-base," Geller said. "I think Gov. Crist would be a key adviser and player in a McCain administration, but I don't expect there will ever be a McCain administration. I think we'll have an Obama or Clinton administration."
Also, expect to see later today a new letter from Sen. Geller blasting the Democratic National Committee for not seating Florida delegates.
