George LeMieux rejoins law firm

george_lemieux.jpgGeorge LeMieux is rejoining the Gunster law firm where he worked before Gov. Charlie Crist picked him to fill out the term of retired U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez.

“We look forward to having George return to his professional home. George will bring his common sense approach and experience back to Gunster and its clients,” H. William “Bill” Perry, CEO and managing partner, said in an announcement.

LeMieux helped the law firm expand its business after leaving Crist's administration in 2007, a partnership that raised some questions about clients and work for the oil industry.

LeMieux has not yet said if he'll run for Senate in 2012, though all signs say he will.
