Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Center-Right Coalition today explaining his confidence that lawmakers will approve his tax cuts:

"It's simple," he said. "If you take Dean Cannon, the speaker, and if you take Sen. Haridopolos, the Senate president, both of them believe the same way I believe. We've got to get the state back to work and they're committed conservatives. They know that reducing taxes will get this state back to, will be part of the process to getting this state back to work. So I'm very comfortable that they're going to support this."

Scott questioned the pair's conservative credentials earlier this week on the same issue.
